In the past, it worked off/on for netflix and almost never worked for amazon. Amazon would always detect vpn and just not work.
However, the past year, maybe 6 months, it has worked for both netflix and amazon pretty well... very pleasantly surprised since already paid for the lifetime years ago.
I guess if you curb your expectations to what you pay, it may be a worthwhile risk/reward. If you want the latest and greatest, I'm pretty sure this is not it, but then again, you're going to pay for that too...
