Digital Trends seems to prefer the Hisense U7. I don't think you could go wrong with either if you aren't shelling out the big bucks for OLED. Or that miniLED Sony sells at OLED prices because they think it's better

I was in Electronic Express to look at Sony's X90L and got persuaded to check this TCL model out.
The QD-Mini LED looked comparable to OLEDs. It was a bit more vivid than the Sony with better blacks and plenty of brightness.
Long story short, by the end of the night, I ordered this TCL from Amazon which should also grant 10% cash back with Prime Visa.
Thinking this Walmart Sony Bravia reveal could be a wash on Sunday night. I don't want to be left empty-handed.
I had the same question so I used this new powerful tool called "Google" which led me to the website of a dude called R-Tings. This is the dude says. I don't know whether his opinion is reliable though.
"The Sony X90L/X90CL is slightly better than the TCL Q7/Q750G QLED. While the TCL has better contrast and much better black uniformity, the Sony is the brighter and more accurate TV of the two in HDR and SDR. The Sony is also a bit more colorful and has better image processing, so it looks better than the TCL in most contexts."
BTW, Best Buy has it for the same price. I am not sure I would trust buying it from this Amazonian website. There is plenty of scammers on the internet these days. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/tcl-...Id=6579485
The TCL QM7/QM751G QLED is a bit better than the TCL Q7/Q750G QLED. The older TCL has slightly better contrast, but the new TCL QM7 has much better lighting zone transitions. Otherwise, the QM7 is noticeably brighter in HDR and is the more colorful of the two, providing a better HDR experience overall. Overall, the newer QM7 is an incremental improvement over the Q7.

Which Visa Prime offers 10% back?
I have Visa Prime but it's 5% on Amazon purchases.
EDIT: disregard... I see the 10% promo available for TCL purchases

Yours, stuck in the 90ies.
BTW.... Ratings.com is NOT the holy bible of TV ratings. They have a unique method of rating TVs.
In the past they have given low ratings to TVs due to low latency/input lag, poor viewing angles and reflection. Even though the TV had a great picture quality and excellent contrast ratio.
I don't have a big enough vehicle to transport this. Is it worth the $50 shipping charge to order from Best Buy vs Amazon? I know Best Buy is desirable because of the easier return process and in-person support, but I wouldn't be able to transport the TV to return it if there were a problem anyway.

You forgot the part where the u7n is better than the Sony.
Anybody have an opinion on this? vs Hisense U7 ($899 Costco until 12/8) vs Sony X90L ( $899 Walmart 12/1)
I ordered Hisense U7 from Costco and waiting for the delivery. It comes with 5 year warranty and $100 google pay gift card. Moreover, I prefer Costco customer support more than other stores.
