78-pc winter frost dinner set for 12, for 112.50$ free shipping is a steal in my books!

Would have bought it in a heartbeat had I not been happy with my Ikea OFTAST 0.79$ tempered glass plates and bowls that achieve almost the same look and quality.

I recommend breaking out larger orders ($200+) into smaller orders so they all don't ship together in one box. I order a lot from this company and whenever I do big orders they start to throw thing haphazardly to get it to fit into a single giant box and things always end up arriving broken when that happens and it's a hassle dealing with their customer service to get it resolved. The small orders are extremely well packed and arrive safe.

Their plates are the best...hard to break.

I see that these cannot be returned to a local Corelle store?? Has anyone ordered from their site and tried to return to a Correlle store?

Didn't know IKEA had something like this. Are the IKEA ones "unbreakable" too like the Corelle ones?

Ikea-

Tempered opal glass

Doubt they're made in USA.

I have some IKEA plates and bowls and they seem thinner on the edges and some have small chips now. Correlle continues on for two decades now with only small fading on the blue design around the edge. Can't go wrong with these

Tempered Glass is indeed a magical material for dinnerware.
Multi millionaire households and rent paying households can have these, and they last forever.

For some strange reason other than Corelle nobody else made these.. now IKEA does a little.

Any other good sources for Tempered Glass like dinnerware or drink ware?
I had one of the plates fall from grill side onto concrete. Did not break. I was sold forever right there.

What makes the experience any different when buying with the company other than them imposing a free shipping minimum? They offer nothing more than Amazon.

The plates are def hard to break. Been using them for decades.
I've been patiently watching prices and waiting months to purchase the 78 piece winter white set at 50% off and free shipping. Amazon is consistently more expensive when you consider the discounts offered by Corelle.

How do these hold up with little kids? My brother uses plastic with the kids around and would love to get them off the plastic.

Do you feel the OFTAST might have the same durability as the Corelle? Thanks.

I clicked on the link to the Corelle site but it didn't work today. Anybody else have the problem?

Does anyone have an issue with the edges of the plates chipping and the design fading? I thought it could be the Finish tabs that are too harsh for the plates.
