If you buy a Fluance with the servo motor isolated from the turntable then yes, I would say Fluance is better (RT-82 fits this bill and is worth the extra $50 in my opinion).

If you buy a low-end Fluance, I would suggest the only way it is better or worse than this Denon will depend on your speakers and your personal preferences which are of course subjective when it comes to audio.

As I mentioned before, this Denon has a replaceable cartridge, that's really where most of your sound quality is coming from if you go far enough down the rabbit hole...
Turntable Labs has this same turntable with an upgraded Ortofon 2M Red cartridge installed for $269. This is $30 less than what you'd pay buying this deal + the upgraded cartridge. Certainly not required for everyone, but its a good upgrade.

I own this turntable. It has a built-in pre-amp that you can choose to enable or disable.

I'm not a Sonos user but given that you can choose whether or not to use the pre-amp, I guarantee you you can connect, it's just a question of how. Turntable has R/L RCA output connections. You might need to buy an adapter to plug into your Sonos... Again, not a Sonos user.

For what it's worth, this is a great budget turntable and I got it at this price 5 years ago so given inflation I'd say it's a good deal.

The cartridge is replaceable as well, allowing for additional upgrades.

Found some great deals on Polk speakers when you use coupon code POLKEXTRA20 on top of their Cyber Monday deals. These T15 bookshelves are only $76.00 https://www.polkaudio.com/en-us/p...8-new.html. This plus the Denon AVR and you've got a pretty good setup for less than $600.

Everyone here is recommending a Fluance RT82 but I prefer this Denon and the Sony for the automatic feature. The reason this feature is important is that lowering the needle manually with your hand wears down your vinyls faster from mechanical trauma to the grooves. The servos in these automated arms are much gentler than a human hand dropping the needle down. Your records will have longer life with an automated system. However, for vinyl purists the act of "putting the record on" with your hand is an important ritual. You gotta figure out why you're in the hobby and what you prefer for yourself.
All of these tables that you self lower do so by way of a lever, so this consideration isn't as important.

The auto atop feature is also on fluance, so no worries there either.

I guess people do not abuse their records like that anymore
If they do, and want quality they'll pay for it. I was offered $1k for my 40+ year old Technics that changes lp . I have not used that feature for many decades, and then only 45's but yeah, some still do.

I "bought" this a week ago. Delivery was scheduled for today. Guess what? I went to check tracking and it had been cancelled. So much for Costco customer service

I know this deal is closed, but FYI, I just picked up the last one at my local Costco (Houston, TX). Rang up for $70, but apparently the leftover stock after the deal were $130. I got a SlickDeal, but even if your local Costco has more than one, it may be at the $130 price, which is still excellent.
