I really liked this. My wife hated it. We got rid of it. Do with that what you will. Nice and compact but when you fill it up with knives, it's gets to be a lot in too little of a footprint and they get a little hard to take out without moving the other knives.

Pass.

Just get a knife block or store your bigger knives on a magnet.

This thing becomes such a chore when it's full.

I use this for my spare knives. (I have way too many...) Other knives are on knife blocks outside but my specialized knives go into the drawer with two of these blocks

I personally liked this but my SO pointed out that it's easy for the kids to access the knives in a drawer vs up on the counter in the knife block .

I like this but I also only have 3 large knives and 4 steak knives in it.

I've yet to find a good magnet where my larger kitchen knives don't slowly slide down until the handle rests on the counter below. Does anyone have recommendations on a very strong magnet?

Same but honest question, in the past year, how many of those spare knives have you actually used. Me, none

This NEEDS an UPDATED design with 1/2 of the lots and alternate the top and bottom slots. It isn't designed for ALL of the slots to filled that is the issue. OCD for those that understand the design and how to load it will drive you plum CRAZY because Noone else in the house will understand it THEY WON'T load it per design.

AVOID THIS TO INSURE YOUR SANITY!
