I bought this a few months back and it seems everytime I cook rice it comes out differently. It's super weird. Always inconsistent in texture and such. Mostly seems undercooked. Pretty disappointed. When it gets it right it seems solid but it's about a 50/50 shot of getting it right.

Are you cooking the medium or long grain rice?

For comparison camel tracks Amazon's lowest at a recent $71.79, since 5/2015…
(Assuming Amazon CR-0351F = CR-0351FR)

The 6 cup mentioned above is currently $65 at Walmart - CUCKOO CR-0655F

Model is made in China you posted.

I don't know if made in China means not as good as quality or not but people love to get the Korean models or for Zojirushi made in Japan.

I still think this is a great price you should post it.

I cook short-grain rice and it's always consistent.

I bought the six cup version from Walmart a couple of months ago for about $55. I've used it to cook short and long grain white rice and black rice. I find it does an amazing job but I'm very careful to rinse the rice thoroughly until the water runs clear before I start the process. I also make sure that I follow the instructions regarding which setting to use for the different rices.

How do you know if it was made in China?
I didn't see anything listed from Walmart website
