Yup - what I usually do is place an order before I head to McD's, pick it up in the drive thru and then pull back thru the drive thru and place another order The 15 minute timer is from the time the order is placed, not when you pick it up.

I've yet to see an official announcement from McDonald's, but here's the two ad scan rumors I saw (image 3 is a cropped version of the first so it's easier to read).

This deal has given me soooo many gray hairs lol. Someone on the mcdonalds subreddit who supposedly is a manager (they have that flair) said "Our store received these like 2 weeks ago along with a poster. Set to start on the 11th." but wouldn't share anything else. All I know is that it's in stores in Michigan and Florida, but I'm hoping with everything happening in the news with McD's this week that they didn't decide to shelve the event.
