I ordered the one from BB yesterday with the AMD Processor for the same price. I read that it might run cooler than the intel and be slightly better for light gaming. Does anybody have any insight on this? Ryzen 9 8945HS vs Core Ultra 9 185H
I got the Acer Swift Go 16" 32gb 1tb with i9 185H $758 all inclusive from Costco & I am pretty impressed with the battery performance , ran all my development apps & kept them running for over 20 hrs (charged 1s it reached 28%) no issues , don't consider the fan noise or initial windows upgrades with BIOS they always takes longer & drain more battery you are not going to do that on daily basis. So He is correct while saying new generation integrated ram LPDDR5X nm chips are like Apple silicon just don't compare the performance to M4 😅 but performance/$ all ai processors are better for daily tasks

Read some reviews, closer to 8 hours should be typical. If you are getting 5 hours, something must be up.
What's up is @nosense has an external SSD he's powering off the laptop battery for god-knows-how-long saving large torrent files so constant writes uses more power. They also don't mention anything about performance settings in Windows or screen brightness.

I bought the AMD version from BB last week and the display is really amazing. I've been loading it up with 4K videos. If you don't need a laptop that plays AAA title games and just want a nice performing laptop with an amazing OLED screen with high resolution (3200x200), this is a great deal IMO.

Ryzen 9 8945HS XDNA NPU:16 TOPS----------Core Ultra 9 185h includes a dedicated NPU, capable of 34 TOPS
You guys DO understand the NPUs are weak and offer a tiny fraction of what a dedicated GPU would provide? With my Nvidia GPU I generate images and use an AI assistant for coding. You're not getting the same performance from a baby NPU. The AMD iGPU is probably over 40 TOPS, but haven't checked.

It might be just the one I got but couple things that made me return it. The fan noise and vibration it made while on a desk was really bad. Battery life drain on just web browsing and watching twitch or YouTube with low performance/batt saver/brightness at 50 was pretty bad. This thing is a finger print magnet.
