FYI, when I redeemed the Apple gift card to my Apple account on my iPhone, I was offered 2 month of Apple TV+ for free that must be accepted at the time of redemption. So you may want to time the redemption of your gift card depending on your desired Apple TV+ subscription start date.

I think that there is a limit of 8 gift cards that you can apply to an order, but you can add unlimited Apple gift cards to your Apple account balance and use that to make a purchase.

Sincere Advice. Never ever buy these gift cards and add to apple account balance! It's a hell and a nightmare. Use gift cards directly in store or something. But never add to apple account balance.

Exactly why I keep my apple account tidy and out of trouble. Because yeah you're right, if you are doing weird things and bad things with your account, you're only asking for trouble. I add probably a hundred gcs to my apple account balance and zero problems.
