What a weird conclusion. I'm a (winning) competitive powerlifter and bodybuilder and there is 100% a place for squat/hack machines. I've used machines for BOTH prepping for meets, as well as shows, which can be extremely effective as a part of a program.

This kind of closed-mindedness does nothing but limit you as a strength athlete.

Ronnie Coleman here. I can confirm, but these are useful for my bicep curls so I highly recommend it.

Ronnie Coleman couldn't even do a warmup set on this thing--let alone his working set at ~2300 or whatever it was.

Anyone who has an at-home gym who can realistically need or even fit this into their workout, I'm jealous.

Repped for gym equipment deals! Don't believe in leg press all that much (prefer functional movements) but love to see more of this type of thing on SD.

A 2-in-1 makes more sense for a home gym. Temu has a few decent looking ones for a lot cheaper. I purchased most of my equipment from there and it's shockingly good quality for the price.

It'll end up being a 5 inch table top version when you get it though.

I would love a 2-in-1 version. Please share a link if you see one that looks good.

Like I said, I purchased a lot of equipment from Temu in the past few months and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. It did take a while for me to muster up the courage to do so but I'm glad I did after watching a few reviews on YouTube. I'll say that a lot of stuff is actually unbranded Syedee and GMWD equipment that can also be found on Amazon for twice, or sometimes, three times as much. Their customer service is extremely responsive as well and they immediately took care of a few issues I had with 2 of my purchases. If I bought the same stuff from Amazon I would have paid an extra $1k for no reason.

One thing to note about buying hack/leg presses is the ROM. 2-1 combos are notorious for not being able to hit depth, if that's important to you.
