Totally agree. I kept watching for a couple more seasons, but fell off at some point and never remembered to finish the last season or two.

yeah it was too bad. There were some really likeable characters even after that event, but the focus on ivar screaming like some lunatic every 5 seconds in an attempt to make him seem powerful/scary just ruined it.
I loved King Harald and the halfdan. Harald was my 2nd fave character in the series.

Still worth owning, even with my misgivings about the last 2 seasons.. there are so few well done movies/shows in the genre
