I also wondered the same thing. I did 30 minutes of research to see if it would be beneficial. Quite a few people reviewed that this product seems to be very good at preventing hair loss with its diverse range of herbal supplements. It also helped to improve the health of their hair and scalp.

I also researched the ingredients inside the product. There are good number of herbal substances that are used in eastern culture to improve health, the effects haven't been studied very well. However, this product has SLS, a known irritant/allergen for skin. SLS has been linked to increased skin allergy/irritation from other allergens/irritants.

With all that in mind, the reviews and word of mouth make me want to try it. However, $43 is a bit to pay for 3 bottles of shampoo. If I do buy it, I will go all in and grab 4 to get an extra $50 off making my final price per pack $30. Hopefully this was helpful!

Anecdotally, I've used this shampoo and conditioner for several years and can't deny nor confirm the claims for reduction in hair loss. Hair loss is affected by many things so it's quite hard to say this helps. I do feel like my scalp is less oily with this product and my hair feels less brittle. It's not heavy like nexus or the kirkland shampoo is on my hair which is nice. I have straight thin asian hair, for reference. The smell is pleasant and it's not horribly expensive on sale. A little goes a long way with this. I have hair down to my lower back and I only use 70% of 1 pump or less per shampooing. Focusing on the scalp unless something dirty got on my hair.
