I have had this set for 2 years now and I love it and have no broke any of the tools. I use it for everyday projects and even small jobs on the car. For 79$ this is a great price
If the quality is the same as the Home depot husky then this would be a better deal. Can't speak to HART quality for tools though.
Probably the same manufacturer as all the 250+ piece sets. I bought the 270 piece set in June 2022 and it is solid! Might get this as a spare for the rental property

I just bought the 230 piece set from Lowes of Craftsman for 99. Why? Lifetime warranty without receipt, my neighbor has 50 year old tools that they will replace free of charge. Kobalt was like pulling teeth to get them to replace it, but this actually works.

I consider it a good backup set with just about every piece you could need in one container, should your main tool break and you need something real quick. Going off the 270 piece set I bought about 2 years ago. Only needed one or 2 sockets, I think like a 21 or 22 or something that my main tools didn't have. Looked in here it was there. No time lost on the job
Probably more like 170 íf you don't consider the filler bits that you can guarantee are garbage
I get your point, but I'm trying to determine how many pieces total.
I don't generally consider the filler bits on these sets to be garbage. Even though it's stuff one probably already has, it's nice having everything in one kit.
Sometimes I'm there fixing some things and need something. I'll never use 80% of this, but it's good to have lol. Plus renters might appreciate it
You're a good landlord but no one will respect your tools. You'll be missing bits and wrench after their first use. Even my own family don't respect my toolbox. They'll frequently misplace things after use.
