Here's a review on this:
https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-c...eally-need

Highlights:
• DRAM-less cache instead with HMB (Host Memory Buffer)
• Phison's recent E27T controller with Kioxia's 162-layer TLC NAND
• Excellent PCIe 4.0 performance
• $85 - least expensive 2TB without sacrificing performance
• 5-Year Warranty or 1200 TBW (whichever occurs first)
• DWPD (Drive Writes Per Day) - 657.53 GB per day

Note: For gaming, you will not see performance issues unless you work with moving large files daily

Alternative options without DRAM cache:
• WD BLACK SN770 $114
• Crucial P3 Plus $117
• SAMSUNG 990 EVO with HMB (Host Memory Buffer) $120
• SAMSUNG 990 EVO Plus with HMB (Host Memory Buffer) $140 (Amazon)

Upgrade options with DRAM cache:
• WD BLACK SN850X $125
• SAMSUNG 980 PRO $119 ($108 at Samsung with EPP discount)
• SK hynix Platinum P41 $145
• Crucial T500 $155
• SAMSUNG 990 PRO $159 ($149 Heatsink)

Prices are current lows and may vary

This looks a good deal to me ... the read/write speed is comparable to any other latest NVMe drive available out there. Am I missing something here ?

For a PS5 you need the heatsink. But for $10 on Amazon with this its still a great deal.
