flat rate shipping mentioned in OP is $5 per item, not for the whole order which is somewhat misleading. Typically flat rate shipping cost applies to the whole order so there is incentive to order more items to trim down the shipping cost per item.

Eww, $5/item shipping. That's genuinely unappealing. Kinda a bit of a bait and switch like the early days of ebay -- low prices, high shipping costs to recoup the low price.

While the link shows $17.99 when I added the gray one to the cart it dropped to $14.99 and $5 for shipping, so $19.99.
