Just curious, but if you don't eat junk food, why would you open a McDonalds deal alert, read all the comments, and reply? It would seem like a waste of your time, imo.

McDonalds and Del taco have the best coupons. Many times they have actual good deals. Taco bell and BK are the absolute worst meanwhile their prices have risen by a lot, main reason I stopped going there.

Fun fact: In the 1940s, a McDonald's cheeseburger (then named tempting cheeseburger) was priced at $0.19 on $0.30/hr.

Definitely regional
Yes, I also have the $1.49 fries price in SoCal. You can't combine promos in a single order, though. In the very least, you need to space your orders 15 minutes apart

It's not a deal because your health will end up paying for it later. Look at the ingredients. The double is not even 100% beef. You're eating processed junk.
Absolutely correct. And lets not forget who they support .Mad .I'll never go there again in my life!

No salt and they give you a fresh one instead of one from the warmer
I generally just save a custom version on the app w/out salt anyway, since additional sodium is REALLY not needed on their stuff.
Nice to know it guarantees a fresh one tho!

I really don't understand a lot of these comments. If you don't want the burger, that's fine, don't go.A lot of us drive by a McDonald's anyway and enjoy a good deal.Is it a huge burger, no?If I'm driving by and want something to eat for less than a dollar will I stop by? Sure. Live and let live.
All of these reasonable statements are getting in the way of people complaining about something they're not interested in anyway.
Cut it out.

It's not the 1960's anymore, granddad.
In the 90's a McD cheese burgers were $0.39 on Tuesday and double cheese burgers were $0.49 on Wednesday. otherwise they were $0.79 and $0.99 respectively. But the best was when Mcnuggets were $0.99 for 6 pieces or a Big Mac was buy 1 and get one for $0.01 more. Even in the early 2000's they were still under a buck.

Likewise, Whopper Jr, Rodeo Burgers, and Double Cheese Burgers from BK were all a buck or under.

you only get one lousy burger? this is not worth your time driving over there, when i was a kid you could buy a whole bag for 50 cents each
I'm sure it was 1000x better quality back then too.

Guess what, I just looked at the ingredients and it's 100% beef.

That's great! I know they do a limited time 100% beef on their small patties.
