Can't confirm for Mario Kart cars, but I bought the Jurassic Park track, which included Owen and Blue, both of which were diecast metal. Still miss the 80's though.

I'm an OG Jurassic Park fanboy (read the book 3x before the first movie came out) and I have small kids so I'm the target audience these, but the big-headed characters just look dumb as hell.

It's a shame that they're not just vehicles from the movies, would have been an insta-buy if they were more real-looking vehicles.
