Is this TORQ22D decent for having around? Just to do my own cars, learning..?
I bought a similar Torq from costco. you can def learn on this one. I did.
Just start off with the "less is more" mindset and dont go straight to a heavy cutting pad with aggressive polish. This is perfect for newer cars which have minor swirls.
I had a friend who had someone scrape his bumper and this was actually able to buff some of it out semi-decently. obviously there was spots that cut past paint/primer, but it made it less visible overall. I wouldnt buy this expecting to buff out major damage or to be extremely quick.
Sooo is the blower any different than a small cordless jobsite blower? I've been using this rodgid for a few months now and seems to work okay and not tied to a cord.
A decent foam cannon such as MJJC v3. or MTM Hydro PF22.2 costs around $90, but I wouldn't pay $90 for the one from Chemical Guys in the OP. $30 is worth a try though.

Don't know who would pay $90 msrp for a snow foam cannon.
Griot Garage offers lifetime warranty on their polishers, while there is only one year warranty from Chemical Guys. Getting the CG polishers with a credit card that offers extended warranty is highly recommended.

I've seen some video reviews. I'd spend the little extra to get griots polisher vs chemical guys. Plus you can't go wrong with lifetime warranty on griots.
As for the blower, just using a leaf blower to dry your car. I've been doing that for years. A lot more drying coverage compared to this little handheld blower.
A handheld blower definitely has its use such as drying tires before applying tire shine, door jams, fuel cap door, fenders...etc. Of course a leaf blower can do the job, but sometimes a leaf blower is too bulky to move around doing the aforementioned drying.

Also lots of reviews mentioning this thing gets so hot they have to stop using it, and some mentions of them catching on fire.
So many better products on the market than the watered down garbage they sell.
