I'd say griots is a level above. I haven't read much on the HF model though, can't comment on that.

Lake Country is the brand I stick with for foam pads. I do like the Meguiars microfiber pads for really heavy polishing.

I have a Torqx model from them. Works great and its the compact version of this one. For retail price, hell no, but for this price? Absolutely. Jump on it!

I started with TorqX as a beginner. Felt the polisher kind of weak. Then moved on to Griot G9. Much more powerful with better grip. And then got my Milwaukee M18 15mm cordless and cut faster with the longer throw. Been wanting to try a 21mm polisher and these CG deals comes in the right time. $99 is definitely a steal for TORQ22D with $399 retail price. I also added the TORQ15DA in my arsenal for $79 which I can't bypass due to the price.

Rupes Yellow Fine Foam pad and matching Fine D-A polish will achieve great polishing resuls. Meguiar's MF cutting pads and M105 compound are great for hard clear coat and faster corrections. If you look around at many reputable professionals (Ammo NYC, BuffDaddy, Jason Rose, Esoteric, OG Garage) they all have used or use these products.
