It looks like this same chair was $300 less 3 months ago.

Have had this chair for about five years and use it daily. I know there are much more expensive chairs out there but I can't imagine them being much better than this one. Love it.

If you are on the fence, go for it.

Do you remember how much it cost 5 years ago?

It seems like for this Holiday, retailers are all raising prices across the board.

So this is an old model?

Frankly, $2k+ is already very rich for a massage chair.

$300 cheaper. It goes on sale about every three months or so, usually at the cheaper price - not sure if this their new sale price from here on out or not. I still would have paid $300 more for mine.

That's like saying 20K is very rich for a car. You know there's massage chairs that are 10 times the price? This is considered cheap and on the lower end.

I got this too and for a few years, but wouldn't necessarily recommend this model unless it was super cheap like 2k or less.

I hate that the maximum run time is only 30 minutes. It's annoying to keep adding time. I also hate that there aren't body area specific programs, like getting a focused upper back massage without doing it manually. The foot massager hurts like hell and the rollers have worn through the material. The rollers here should be adjustable to reduce the pressure.

A few pros, it does give a nice massage when u get it dialed in. Being able to adjust the main rollers in and out to change the pressure and intensity is pretty awesome. It also maps out your body to have the rollers in the right place. The speakers are decent (led lights annoying).

I'm aware. I mean people have golden toilets so that doesn't really say much other than that there's filthy rich people. I'm not one of them, and even if I was, I'd have a hard time justify that kind of spending and rather than fund a good cause.

There's no better cause than self-care which is why I have a $5,000 toilet and think a $2,000 massage chair is cheap.

What does that $5000 toilet do for your health (legit curious)?

I agree on self care. However, I'm sure you can derive equal health benefit from a cheaper chair or toilet. I don't know your situation, so I'm not commenting on your situation specifically.

I just don't want other people to think that it's required to spend a lot of funds for that self care. In many ways, for many, not being financially burden i.e. working to pay for all that is a huge health uplift in the long run.

I think the Costco aspire is perhaps a better deal looking at both… it's a much newer model and has twice as many air pockets

For $5k on a toilet you better have the cleanest booty around. All you really needed was to spend maybe $500 for a nice bidget and electrical outlet.

Don't buy an Osaki chair!!! I bought one in the last 'sale' - it arrived defective with a malfunctioning lower foot unit. The company sent out a technician, who tore it apart and couldn't get it back together, leaving behind greasy parts and screws in my carpet. He did explain how the circuit boards all fall, were nearly impossible to diagnose or find replacement parts for, and the mechanical elements are not a lot better. You're better off setting your money on fire.
