On one hand, on-package ram means no upgrades, but unlike soldered-on-mobo ram, the speed/latency benefits of this form of integration are worth it IMO (see Apple etc).

Smokin' hot deal for anyone wanting a work laptop. This thing is badass. Tomshardware did a review that sounds rather negative, but most of that has to do with the similarly outstanding competition on other HP models, or Asus and Lenovo.

https://www.tomshardware.com/lapt...-14-review

Couple mentions from the review:
- great performance

- excellent webcam for those video conferences

- 10Gbs usb-c on one side and 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports on the other. No usb-A for legacy stuff, you'll need a hub etc. Also odd is that 2 of the 3 ports are, literally, on the (angled) rear CORNERS. That means they can interfere with the screen when open. I suppose those angled corners can be nice if you're lying in bed with this thing folded into tablet mode or something (bulky versus a tablet), but placing ports in a way that potentially interacts with the screen sounds like marketing or design got in the way of practical engineering. Probably nbd for most people but something to keep in mind when plugging things into those ports.

Wish there was 17-inch model with this configuration specs. Ticks all the boxes otherwise.

Yea same. Or at least keep wtih the Spectre tradition of offering a 16 inch model. 14 inch is just too small, cant go back after using 16 for nearly everything.

Just wonder would you use it as table with 17-inch screen as this is a 2-in-1? Is it convenient?

Not as tablet. Just laptop. Flip or not doesn't matter.

Lunar Lake's RAM isn't the same as traditional memory in previous laptops. It's on the CPU package itself, which helps with efficiency and performance but it's more expensive.

This is the only widely available Intel Lunar Lake (2xxV) 2-in-1 laptop. The other option MSI Summit 13 appears to be hard to find and more expensive with worse specs.

For more beefy setup (w/ worse battery life and fan noise), consider Asus ProArt PX13 with Ryzen AI 9 HX370 and an Nvidia GPU starting from RTX 4050 Mobile.

I came to find deals to spend money, but always do better findings. Words of wisdom!

Looks good but was hoping for some good cashback options but can't find anything. My credit cards are only offering $50 cash back and the highest offer on the cash back sites is only 3%.

No USB-A sounds like it would get tiring fast.
