Probably trying to drive renewals to their website. Some people recently renewed their $30/yr eBay only plan via the web using autopay. Might be worth looking into.

I don't know that they really charge you that. Last week I bought the 12gb deal on ebay. Receipt says it was $199.99, free shipping, and $15.90 tax. It had also stated in the listing there would be a shipping fee, but there doesn't appear to be one unless they somehow rolled that into the tax, which I wouldn't think they could do that.

The 12GB plan is the only one listed as free shipping now. All the other plans have added shipping.

... and the price of the 12 GB plan just increased from $200 to $210. Yeah, $28 off (with the coupon) on the 5 GB isn't really that good of a deal. My plan expires in February, so I'll probably switch elsewhere if this is the best they do.

thanks for the info. I was trying to find some deals on ebay for renewal, but they seem to jack up the price to $45 a year with $5.55 shipping. So i decided to sign up for the auto renew at their website instead. it shows $30 there. hopefully there is no additional fees/charges on top when the renewal comes.
