I'm not a brand snob at all but avoid this brand.

If you really need something asap, these are some better options:

Bucket and lid are two items and I think the 12th item is an air freshener. Still not a bad deal but definitely seems cheating to call it 12 items.

So the bucket and the lid count as 2 separate items. These packs are always grasping at "value"

"Included bucket serves as a container for the items and doubles as a car wash bucket"
to go with the car wash detergent and the car wash mitt. To wash the car. 🙄

Thank you!

Do you have any recommendations for a complete beginners kit?

I purchased this last year around this time for $20 or something and have to say that it was pretty good. I used it on a car that I was selling for detailing purposes and was quite successful. The first buyer bought the car without any negotiation.

The car wash soap, wipes, glass cleaner and the extreme wheel and tire cleaner were amazing. The car wash soap gave an amazing sheen right after the wash; and the tire cleaner took away most of the dirt, brake dust and grime without much effort. Highly recommend this kit.

Professional Detailer here. Please do not use Armor All products. They're garbage and cheaply made

I would avoid Armor All. They might give the best shine but ultimately end up damaging plastic and rubber.

Turtle wax is also crap along with chemical guys. Meguiars, Griots garage, Adam's and CarPro are a few better brands which definitely cost more but will long outlast the quality of the product in this post.

Good chemicals typically have a shelf life of a 12-18 months when opened. About 24 months if not opened.

Good chemical brands like Koch Chemie, CarPro, etc. This Armor All stuff is not good.
