I'm surprised this is not getting more attention. This is a great monitor for a great price.

Gaming Perspective: Even at this price, I don't think it's a good monitor. It makes more sense to pay a bit more for something with true HDR. With that said 4k at 144hz is sweet, but as someone who games exclusively on 4k and has multiple 4k 144hz+ monitors/TVs, I wouldn't get this monitor.

After just fooling around with my Odyssey G5 27" trying to get G-Sync to work (spoiler alert, it's not compatible) and frequently having to change inputs with the janky little menu button/stick. This seems like it would solve all my problems.

what are the dimensions? Seems that even Samsung doesn't post it to their site.

I bought this monitor https://a.co/d/iemXU9i for the same price but Amazon is not shipping till January. Would this be similar?

Buy this one and you could use it until the other gets there before the return window closes. It's Walmart so return to store would be pretty simple

400nits minimum, but really should be 600nits. Also should have local dimming.

That's little misleading a lot more does into true HDR than just nits. 600 would be good, not great HDR.

There are a lot of TV features that make a true HDR experience.

My teenage son has gotten into photography. He wants a monitor that is good for photo editing first and gaming second. Is this a reasonably good monitor at a reasonable price to meet these two interests?
