I used to 100% open world games and start new games on the most difficult settings. As I've grown I don't have time to repeatedly slam my head into a wall to progress in a game or run around for an extra 10 hours chasing collectables. When you're younger you have all the time in the world and very little money for games. Then you get older with plenty of money and no room for time-sink games. Not that that's what this is, just most open worlds don't respect the players time. I'll take a curated experience over an 50 hour epic.

I didn't care for the open world feel. I liked when it was more linear.
Yeah same, I'm very tired of open world games..they just add artificial hours to the length of the game

For you PS Plus Extra subscribers out there, there's a good chance this will get added to the catalog in the next couple months.

it's sad to see how, as ppl get older, they lose the desire to explore... the wonder..
LOL. Or, maybe, as people get older and gain responsibilities and life experiences, they recognize the value of prioritizing real world experiences and family time over video games. I love playing games, but I have only a few hours per month to do it. As far as wonder, I find much more in the world around me than in pixels on a screen.

does target price match if its Prime members only?
I had bought this through Target for $30 over Black Friday, and they gave me a $5 refund for the difference so give it a shot.

The older you get the less time you have for gaming. Most people just want to jump in and have fun. Between work, sleep and spending time with my girl I get maybe a couple hours a night to play games if I'm lucky. I usually just play a couple matches of Overwatch or CoD and call it a night these days.

A game I actually enjoyed recently was Space Marine 2 because it was linear and action packed. It didn't waste my time like most open world games do.

Yeah, bud, I've got a house, a toddler, upkeep on the house, yardwork to do, and a job. I'd love to have time to "explore".

Honestly doubt it. The rate of releases coming to ps+ either the catalog or the monthly free games has slowed immensely from prior arrivals. If anything the risk is more stuff leaving than staying. Ie. Horizon and Spider-Man. The service is much worse quality wise from when I signed up a year ago. Definitely not renewing.

Lol exactly this. I've also got kids, a wife, homeowner, full time job, etc.. People that is in a similar situation that actually takes care of their responsibilities around the house and tries to spend family time knows their time for gaming is extremely limited... Then there are guys that also have all of the above, but still play games most of their day shake head

When you're a kid or a teen, you literally have none of these responsibilities. Other than school, you have all the time in the world to "explore" a virtual world.

I have both ps4 and ps5 consoles, does it make sense for me just to buy the GOW ps4 with ps5 upgrade (is actually cheaper). Graphic wise, am I gonna get the same ps5 version of the upgrade (from ps4) in comparison with the actual ps5 disc? Am I gonna miss any features, extras or add-ons?
