No. You don't need subscription. You "own" these movies to watch anytime under library section of the app.

No, these movies will be in your library of the AppleTV app regardless of an AppleTV+ subscription.

No, Apple TV+ is just the premium streaming service within the Apple TV app. There's a Apple TV app for Roku or Fire TV that you can use to watch your purchased movies / TV shows. They probably have it on other platforms too. No need to have Apple TV+ to watch your purchased movies.
