They don't throw any different on grass and they are ultra annoying to grasp if you're using the throwing tool compared to the traditional balls. I bought a pair of these thinking they would be fun, neither for me nor the dog. I ended up throwing them over the fence for the neighbors dogs.

Maybe it's time to learn to throw with your arm and hand instead of the tool.

You must be blessed to not have a shoulder injury my friend. Collegiate baseball does your body no favors.

I had a broken clavicle 7 years ago. It never healed right. Does that count? I pitched and played third base in little league, babe ruth league and varsity in high school. I played collegiate tennis and can still serve if I need to. Try side arm or underhand. Physical therapy might also help.

I suppose all injuries are different. Mine with physio and surgery still doesn't allow for certain repetitive movements. I also have 3 acres to throw and the dog loves to run. Even when I was healthy I couldn't throw 3 acres so there's that.
