  • This deal works out to $15 per month. A nice offer since Mint Mobile typically only offers this sort of promotional pricing on shorter duration plans.
  • Please see the original post for additional details & give the WIKI and additional forum comments a read for helpful discussion.

You definitely can port in. I bought this deal and ported in from att. Process is relatively smooth. You just need a transfer pin, att account number, original billing zip code. I just did it today and phone was working fine after switched.

Are there carriers that don't allow port ins as new customer?

You mean $275 plus taxes or $395 plus taxes one?? or any other offer going on ?
Recovery fees, etc are on all plans and renewals purchased through Mint. It's based on term and plan/cost. Outlined in detail on section of T&C. Only exclusions are kits from BB, Target, et al.

Paypal offering $10 discount if you use paypal as payment. Brings this back to about $200 after fees/taxes. Not bad.

I jumped on this today. My visible account would have recycled on the 21st, so I lost about three days of paid data from Visible, but I am about to take a vacation and didn't want to bother in the middle. And yes, randomly stressful now thinking about how I changed phone providers right before vacay.
My iPhone SE 2nd gen is working just fine. The esim changeover was smooth. However, they have weird wording on the carrier billing zip code. I was so confused that I thought I needed my carrier's billing zipcode from their HQ. Wrong. They want your billing zipcode from your billing address.
I got a port out pin from Visible, used the account number, and put in my zip code. My number was transferred and my data connection went out for 1 minute and then changed to Mint. About ten minutes later I got an email from Visible saying "sad to see you go" and here is what your account standing is yada yada yada.
So far seems good! I used the Amex $45 off deal and my Capital One shopping portal showed $12 back. However four days ago it was showing $22 back, so I missed out on $10. I think of the cap one rewards as taking half of the recovery fee they added, and then the $45 off is a nice cherry on top. I am stoked to pay such a low amount for unlimited data. it reminds me of my college days and using Boost Mobile back when it was dirt cheap.

Thanks, 29 dollards in fee and taxes. even 7-10% tax would be max 18, what is the additional fee?

I ordered the 3 month promo sim card, which hasn't arrived yet. I want this 12 month promo deal instead. Anyone know if it's possible to get a refund or swap to the new plan? Their help bot is just spitting out generic responses.

For three lines (divide by 3 for a single line):
Your state sales tax will vary a little bit.

Recovery Fee: $75.75
FEDERAL UNIVERSAL SERVICE FUND: $4.71
DISABILITY ACCESS/ENHANCE 911 SERVICES SURCHARGE: $4.50
STATE SALES TAX: $2.73
FEDERAL COST RECOVERY FEE: $0.27

I just moved away from Verizon to mint mobile and I've honestly been very impressed. My biggest gripe with Verizon was that wifi calling wasnt really wifi calling because without a Lte cell booster call quality was horrible in my house. 15$ a month vs 80$ and my service is much better. #winning

Read the whole wiki and the answer to my question is not there. Must activate within 45 days doesn't tell me if I'm being charged from the day I purchased the plan or activated it.

Service doesn't start until you activate the sim.
