Somehow my last couple of pairs the softness has changed for the worse. Their foam composition was changed I believe.

Yes, this is true with other models as well. Shoe companies always seem to ruin a good thing. Happened with Altra and on many models of Hokas. Either change for the sake of change to justify employment and/or cheaper materials would be my guess.

Yes! They changed from being made in Vietnam to being made in S. Korea. The former were the softer ones.

These size large, I always get a size smaller than I need. I find the flip-flop version unwearable uncomfortable, but love the slides. They tend to wear out after 3-6 months of use though.
