I swore I would not buy any instruments this Christmas and I am remaining strong.... of course that is excluding VSTs, pedals and a FRFR Cab.

Man, I am so proud of myself control, I think I may grab a Gretsch as a reward.

This is about the best "beginner" guitar available at this price rn - even though it's much more than a "beginner" guitar. I owned this model before, and just saw a used one priced $100 more at my GC yesterday. I shouldn't have picked it up and played it, because it reminded me how good it was, and that this insane deal was still valid! Embarrassment

If you're referring to the previous G5210-P90 deal for $299, by comparison this one:

Is $50 cheaper
Doesn't have a Bigsby tremolo
Has humbuckers instead of P90 single coils

They should play almost identically, though this one will probably hold tuning better. They will sound different due to the pickup designs. Recommend watching youtube videos to get an idea which one you might like more.
