Excellent deal. Vudu / Fandango normally asks $60 for this same set, occasionally putting it on sale for $25.

Great deal if you like Vudu/Fandango. I picked this up "on sale" on iTunes for $30 back in April, so this is a really good price.

I don't necessarily hate the new special effects but I do dislike them enough that I'm going to pass on this deal. I wish this was like the blu ray that has both versions to choose from. The original version is available from vudu and Amazon last I checked but only in SD and never on sale like this version.

Thankfully it was on Prime years ago so I was able to watch the whole thing that way. Currently enjoying TNG and DS9 that I bought on iTunes where I'll buy Voyager next good sale on that.

For this very reason I bought the blu-ray set a while back. The new "special effects" our out of place and take away some of the charm.

It's $35 for apple as well. I usually lean towards apple but for this I don't think it's worth the difference, but it personal preference. If you don't have any vudu/fandango it's worth it on apple. head to head apple is better quality on 4k at least.

The blue ray is better. There are tons of great special features.
I recommend getting it instead.
