18V X2 LXT 5.0Ah Lithium-Ion (36V) Brushless Cordless Rear Handle 7-1/4 in. Circular Saw Kit [homedepot.com]

Includes saw, 2x 5.0Ah batteries, double charger, and a carrying case.

This item also qualifies for a free DML813 Tower Work Light ($369 retail price) Makita eRebate for purchase made through Jan 31, 2025 (thanks user @MellowGiraffe8586): https://www.makitatools.com/erebates

YMMV. On clearance at select stores. Some users are reporting that some stores have a $200 clearance price, and many stores are not clearanced.

Deal is In-Store only, but you can check for clearance price and stock at a specific store on the HD website.

A current front-page deal from Acme Tool has 2 4.0Ah batteries and a single charger with a free tool. This is a much better deal than that one if the saw fits your needs.

This is an amazing deal if you can snag one, even if it's been cheaper before. A two-pack of 5 Ah LXT batteries retails for $279 by itself.

I got this kit when it was $199 and came with two extra batteries as part of the deal, but that was a couple years ago. Last year this kit could be found for $154 and change. In the past, the price of $200 for this kit was regularly thumbed down.

I'm in the Dallas, TX area. I bought the last one at my local store (Allen) but see a handful of others in DFW with limited stock, as well as some in other areas in Texas with the same price.

$180 is the lowest price it has ever been without a Home Depot return hack. Hack deals in the past have brought it down to $154 after return.

There was an acme deal a couple years ago that was probably a better bargain at $200 with two extra 5.0Ah batteries.

$200 straight up is still a good price if you will use the saw. It is big and heavy, though, so keep that in mind. It's great at what it's designed for: cutting lumber and plywood fast, but not great for lighter work where maneuverability is important.

I expect these are being cleared out in favor of the newer single-battery 40V XGT version, which will be lighter weight for a similar amount of power. An equivalent XGT kit retails for $400, though.

Nice! 199 for this kit AND 2 extra batteries was an amazing deal. Sadly, the Makita deals are pretty stingy this year.

I miss the days of HD letting clearance power tools go to 75% off, or even a penny.

Attached screenshot shows the $180 price for a store near me. HD shows "Limited Stock" there, so YMMV at this specific location. Zip is 75024. Brenham, TX store also shows two in stock at this price.

Those days are still around...just takes a while for prices to get there and people often buy them before then. There is more awareness now than there once was. Still pretty easy to find 75%+ off if you figure out the price drop schedule and keep an eye on things yourself and don't wait for people to post those deals here (which is often too late)
