This is a great saw, but it is pretty big and powerful, if you want comfort an convenience I would recommend the 18v 6 1/2" saw. It is a nice size for most jobs and can easily be manipulated with one hand.
Edit: If you get a 6 1/2 inch saw I would recommend getting a thin kerf blade like Diablo, it makes the saw much more capable of cutting well.

Tophandle is cheaper at ACME with same battery promo: https://www.acmetools.com/18v-x2-...69133.html

$199, backordered right now though.

Or tool nut too: https://www.toolnut.com/makita-xs...h-kit.html

Basically shop around, rear handle I don't see any deals (and picked this up to hack from Home Depot), top handle I see better deals if you're not going to hack the order.

I got the XSH03Z for $135 from amazon warehouse (basically brand new), is it worth returning and getting this one?

This one is rear handle and heavier, but blade is still on the left (easier to use for righties). Already have enough batteries and chargers. Use case is building a floating deck for now, and having a circ saw for the future…

Personally, I like the rear handle worm style. But most people would say otherwise. I just prefer the extra power, and left Blade

But it really depends on what you're using it for.

I think it depends on if you're left or right handed.

I agree same here and personally weight of circular saws isnt a big factor to me. When your using a circular saw majority of the time the saw is resting on the workpiece that is also resting on horses or something any ways

If you don't need the 2 extra batteries, they can be returned and kit will cost around $135.

I sold most of my LXT stuff and jumped to XGT. Still tempting to have these batteries around.

Just curious, where did you sell them - I might be making this jump in the future?

Or in my case, I don't need the exact same saw again but want the extra batteries Smilie. If you sell the saw around $40 to a friend you both still make out like bandits.
