One of, if not the best, Makita deal I happen to stumble upon. No mention of it advertised as on sale or a clearance item on the Home Depot app, but in store it had the yellow clearance price sticker on it. Normally $399, marked down to $200. Comes with two 5ah batteries (valued $279 alone!!), double battery charger which is amazing, and a tool bag.

Not sure if this deal varies from store to store but I saw it locked in the tool cage and couldn't believe my eyes (since Makita is my tool platform as well). YMMV so good luck. But like I said, no mention of it being marked down online so the link will still show $400. But I've included a picture of the price on box to prove it's legit.

You used to be able to get this for about 135 dollars during the old buy this, get two more batteries for free. You just returned the 2 "free" batteries, and it would be about 135 dollars.

This is a great saw. I bought this kit a couple of years ago and it was much better than my Milwaukee.

I did that and kept all 4 batteries and sold the tool for $140 on OfferUp.

Which is funny, because usually tools go down over time, as more powerful models come out. I think with Makita, though, its because they are trying to push people to 40v, so not as good sales for 18v.
