Not knocking the deal here but you have to be careful with these kind of eyedrops. It's very easy to forget how much time goes by after you open them. Some people have had very serious eye problems after using them beyond the expired date or beyond the days to use after opening. I believe it's like 90 days after opening but the Expired date goes way beyond that. My eye doctor told me to use Refresh Plus Lubricant Eye Drops instead. They're packaged individually.

This is mind-boggling. I've been using eye drops all my life and this is the first time I'm hearing that they should be discarded after a certain amount of days after opening. It doesn't say that on the bottle, box or even their websites but i did a quick search and that's what people are saying. I'm shocked.

Oh crap, I didn't think the 90-days was that significant. Sounds like I'll have to buy one use ones, or buy in smaller batches.

Isn't it just a salt solution?

It's 45 days expiration after opening. Take these expirations seriously. I decided to use it after around 6 months and got a pretty bad eye infection

My Blink tears dry eyes 30ml bottle says discard 90 days after opening. So maybe it's the active ingredients?

Polyethylene Glycol 400 0.25% is the active ingredient in mine.

I have "clear eyes triple relief" and it just has an expiration date on the bottle and it doesn't say anywhere to stop using after a certain amount of days. So, is it fine to use until the expiration date?

I have both PF bottled and individual dose vials. Bottled is great on the go, the vials I use at home. I do put open vials in a small prescription bottle and refrigerate them after use so I can use it more than once since there are plenty of drops in there. I guess you can also refrigerate the bottles

Edit: I just ordered the PF vials from Amazon a week ago, the first shipment had the box seal broken and expires 2/25, had to call to get them replaced because they are not returnable, the replacement came but was expired 7/24! Check the expiration date when you get yours!

After some reading, the recommendation is to discard it after 30 days or so, unless the bottle says otherwise. Some bottles have preservatives that help them last longer.

My guess is, you should look really closely on the labal and even check the box. I compared the ingredients on the Triple Relief and my Dry Relief and the ingredients are slightly different (among the inactive).

If the triple relief wasn't so expensive, I'd use it more too.

If you're wanting eye drops for lubrication avoid clear eyes. Clear eyes main objective is to take the redness out of your eyes and actually isn't good for your eyes in general. I'm sure people will want to argue with me in this peanut gallery known as the SD comment section, just ask your eye doc they'll tell you.

Yeah, the website for Blink eye drops for my specific one doesn't say anything either. But on the bottle it does.

https://www.justblink.com/product...eye-drops/

All I can say is, it says that on my label. The kicker?

I tried to search for the label online for the same bottle, and the label doesn't say it. But the label on the back of my bottle which doesn't follow the same style clearly says to discard it.

I'll search around and ordered this Thera Tears one for now.

My eye doctor told me this. I don't know what is in it. Many have had issues with the bottles that you open and close. One issue is that it touches makeup as you apply it and goes back into the bottle. It's best to use what they call one use bottles

But there are different type of clear eye drops. The triple relief is for lubrication AND redness relief. I hear the preservative free drops are better for you, But they're not cost effective because they're a one-time use, then you throw it away.
