The best solution I've found is the Hills Science Oral dry food, which seems to slow down the plaque build up a tiny bit.

Comes out to less than $0.63 per "bone" for me buying the pair of 12 packs.
They are not marketed as a dental treat but actually last at least a couple minutes and do some physical cleaning from the chewing, unlike Greenies and all the other overpriced treats that dogs just instantly consume.
They don't contain rawhide, the outside part that has to be gnawed at awhile to soften up is made from rice.
I sometimes snap them in half but that takes rather strong hands.
Best method I've found for ordering multiple variations of a product with the same coupon is clipping the coupon and adding them all to the cart as one time purchases but then changing them to a Subscription during the checkout process when they try to push that option.
Also when you already know you like the product and its a one time discount (like half off the first time) you can usually just subscribe for a large quantity at the discounted price then cancel the sub before your next shipment.

After you've used a coupon once Amazon often gets wonky and won't give you the same deal on some or all of the additional variations that should have been eligible.
