.10 per oz is a very good price. And if you use about half of what P&G recommends to use then this will likely last a long time. Manufacturers want you to use more detergent than you need to use. There are studies that show using much less than they recommend to use ends up doing a better job at cleaning than using more deterrent. I use a couple of oz in most loads and only wash in cold and short cycle and only dry undergarments and towels, never dry my workout shirts, my dress shirts or pants/jeans. A five minute steam dry after they are dry makes the dress shirts and pants look good. Never dry jeans and only wash jeans after a number of wearings. Detergent makers and clothing makers want to sell more product by making you think you need to wash your clothes to death.

I gave up on ordering detergent, it's such a mess when they inevitably fail with the packaging.

Is this a good price for laundry detergent? How much should I pay per ounce for premium laundry detergent?

Good deal. If you're a Costco shopper, I really do like the Kirkland "generic Tide", which is currently on sale in my club for less than $.09/oz.

This deal is close at about $.1/oz. Great if you have a specific affinity for Tide or Jeff Bezos.

Not only that, counterfeit Tide is a thing [google.com] because it's popular in a bunch of countries so works as a commodity to move illicit money around. I don't trust amazon's commingled stock.
