I was able to combine these some time ago, basically making the WM+ membership free. You can go to CS in WM and cash out the $50.

Just did this. Walmart+ (was signed up for 3 months free offer 2 years ago) and app showed this 50 cash.. added amex offer to to card and also Added amex card as default card in Walmart app and then signed up..
50 got added instantly.
Waiting for amex offer to reflect.
interestingly Walmart+ charged tax as well..
Sam's and Costco membership don't charge tax on top of membership fee

My local Walmart employee will purposely skip item that is big or heavy or inconvenient for them to find. I ordered some distilled water and selected substitutes as well, they are full in stock in stores and the employees will lie and say they are out of stock. Happened multiple times.
