It's usually the Western Digital SSD issue that just requires upgrading the firmware. Some people have mentioned getting ADATA SSD, which won't have the issue. If not, the return policy has been extended until Jan 31.

One Walmart review says it came with an Apevia 850W Gold 80 plus PSU.

Random, but I wouldn't expect this to be a high quality PSU for this price. Probably should swap this out (or if you have another one lying around from an old computer), but just the Ryzen 7 7700 ($260 microcenter) and the 7900 GRE ($570 microcenter) is $830. $170 for the case, memory, and SSD isn't too bad even if they are lower quality.

I'm usually not one to advocate for pre-builds, but from the $1,000 pre-builds I've seen recently this one has the best gaming performance. For those worried about the PSU, this system will be under 400 watts so you don't need an overkill PSU.

It's not a bad deal.
Pro:
- Costco Return Policy + 2 Year Warranty (vs Walmart's 1 year warranty or $79 for a 3 year warranty)
- $150 cheaper (unless there is some cashback deal)
- NVIDIA GPU - somewhat hyped because of certain GPU features that aren't available on the Radeon GPU cards (over my head)
Con:
- Intel CPU for two reasons. Bad reputation due to overvoltage issue that supposedly is fixed and lack of upgradeability since the 14th generation might be the last to use the LGA1700 socket. The Ryzen 7 CPUs are using the AM5 sockets, which are more future proof (you won't have to switch out the whole motherboard if you buy new CPUs.
- GPU only has 8GBs of memory (which could be a bottleneck in future games) and it is less significantly less performant than the 7900 GRE (which is more comparable to the 4070 Super)

This is a beast for 1440p and can even do entry level 4k. What an absolute steal
