Thanks.. I'm not seeing the paypal discount on my paypal account, and sadly have the Freedom UNLIMITED which I guess doesn't seem to offer this discount.

haha, i must be dumb. i am not seeing the option to add 5% cashback for best buy in the paypal app or website. must be for certain accounts?

No BB membership at all, and I almost never shop there so I'm not any kind of frequent customer or anything.

Wait I just realized you said "activatable devices", which best buy agents get confused about in my experience. If your iPad is a cellular model, then yes it's "activatable" but if it's Wifi-only, then it is NOT activatable. If yours is wifi-only I'd contact them again and point that out if they push back.

I'd rather pay the extra $24 for a new one. Best Buy screwed me before with an open box excellent item that was missing parts. I guess partly my fault because I didn't open it until after the return window.
