I've gone through 3 pairs of these. I prefer the ventilator. Anyway, $140 is ridiculous. $70 shoujld be regular price.

In for a back up pair, been using these since this summer playing disc golf and hiking and have loved my first pair.

It might be psychological but I think I throw better in good hiking shoes vs sneakers. more sure-footed at least.

Mine blew out prematurely on both sides of the toe, on both feet, right where the black synthetic fabric flexes. I'll never buy a shoe with that stuff on it again. If it were made of leather instead, they would be much more durable.

Have a black pair (2 yr old) and a grey pair (3 yr old) that are still like new. These are my goto's when not in sneakers or boots. Would buy another, but need std not wide.
