I've had one for 2 years and it's still working fine. With that said I'd say for $200-$250 it's a decent machine, but it's MSRP is way off the mark. It makes just an okay cup of espresso and the milk frother... works.

My in laws have a Jura and the same coffee beans out of that machine taste closer to what you'd get at a coffee shop, whereas this machine just makes it easy to make an acceptable latte at home. I wouldn't buy it again if it ever breaks, but I bought it at $300 to replace a kuerig and don't regret it.

I agree, I loved it as well so much that I bought one each for my siblings over a year ago. Unfortunately I paid close to $300+ for another version of this without the brother/steam wand.
Yes I got it a year ago for $225 because this color is unpopular. This price is a legit good deal for that machine

I purchased the model without the frother in September 2023, for $270. I was skeptical, but it works fantastic and I feel it was one of my best purchases. I may buy this model and give mine to one of my kids.

I have the cafe bellisimo from this line. A lot of people forget that there's freaking wifi feature on this machine and comes with a dedicated app. You can literally connect it to a smart device and tell alexa to make you shot of coffee on the spot or in the morning (just don't forget to have a cup under it..) The app is actually where the customization can be done for the shot of espresso you like along with reminders to fill up the water, descale, etc. It's not the best app but it's works fine for the most part. I figure not many super automatic machines offer this feature in the $200-$300 range.

I love mine, got the white one without the frother (SD of course) and have had zero issues.

Something to keep in mind, the Reddit espresso crowd is very snooty. If it does not take you 45 mins per pull using a dedicated grinder and less than $5000 on a machine, you are lesser. The help I got when trying to figure out how to get a good pull from my Barista Express was to get better equipment. I never really felt like I was getting a great shot out of it despite following multiple different guidelines. The Cafe is so much easier and everyone has commented how good the shots are and nobody feels like they are putting me out when I hit a button and hand over a shot.

Does it not rinse first? My Afetto rinses every time you turn it on, would not work.

That's a good point. I've only tried it on the bellisimo and forgot about the rinse cycle on these super auto machines.

This does rinse every time you turn it on but you can skip the rinse by hitting the power button again before it starts, then give it 3 seconds and go straight to brewing

Do it! The frother is so good. I can't live without this machine.

Just got mine and it is leaking. Every time I brew a shot it fills the lower tray about 2/3 of the way up with water. I have owned a Dehlonghi in the past and I am preety sure that is not right. Anyone have any ideas?

I called BuyDig support and they told me to talk to the manufacturer about a warranty service. I immediately laughed. That is terrible CS. I sent an e-mail for an RMA so we will see.

I had a similar issue with mine about 8 months in. Talked to warranty department and they sent a new one.

My in laws have a Jura too and they know nothing about tasting coffee since they drink it loaded with milk. Once you add milk, the differences between coffee bean flavors becomes very negligible.

A new Gaggia Brera is $375... well worth the extra money.
