This is starting to get out of hand. People who don't want 60hz have ZERO reason to go on every monitor thread and add that they don't care for it. Plenty of people are just fine getting it. On to the next.

Exactly. These monitors are great for home office etc. Not for heavy use gamers

Why do you need to pay $280 for a 43" monitor if you are not going to use it for high-quality video streaming or playing video games? If you just need a monitor for basic computer use, connect to your current HDTV. It's not extra cost. It will save you $280 + tax.

According to Google AI Overview:

"Yes, hertz (Hz) or refresh rate matters for streaming videos because it affects the quality of the image"

So what's the purpose of buying a 60 Hz monitor that's advertised as a "streaming monitor"? Oh...your eyes are so bad that you can't tell the difference between 60 Hz and 120 Hz? LMAO
Web design, photo editing, etc. Just because you think there's no need for something like this doesn't mean others won't want it for their office.

So you are going to buy a $280 "smart monitor w/ streaming" for a web design, photo editing, etc? You do realized you can buy $140 43" monitor to do the same office tasks, right?

I tried this very same Xumo TV for use as a PC monitor… and it's complete scam. Scam because its not truly a 4K monitor. While it does pass 4:4:4 @60hz, the text look crappy and hard to read at 4K resolution. My 10 yr old 4K Samsung that cannot do 4:4:4 looks much more readable at same resolution. Tells me the xumo panel is a fake 4K

Is is one of the worst comments ever. I guess you've never done real work on a computer before.

I'm not ever going to sit at an HDTV and do actual production work. I'm going to use my hi res ultrawide or my older hi res 32" and guess what- neither have high refresh rates or any of that other nonsense. Don't need it.

Purchased as a third monitor last time it dropped below $300. Surprisingly nice for the price.
