Not for current customers. I tried and moved to FIOS for $39.99 (300/300 MB/s) with $50.00 gift card and 12 month WIX. Adios Xfinity
Is the 39.99 alongwith being a Verizon wireless customer? I only see $50 for non Verizon wireless customers. Also, which state are you in?

Just FYI, I signed up for the promo last month (BF deal) with $35 for 12 months internet with free mobile line. I paid 35 at beginning (Nov) for the internet plan. I just received the mobile bill of 65 + tax for Mobile plan (40 (Nov-Dec service)+ 25 activation fee). I chatted with the Xfinity agent and she told me the promo discount for mobile only applies after 30 days, meaning I have to pay mobile for first month and then I will get 12 months of mobile service. As result, my internet promo starts Nov 2024 - Dec 2025 and my free mobile plan starts Dec 2024 - Jan 2026. So my math as follow.

$100 + tax for Nov-Dec 2024 bill (35 internet + 64 mobile + activation)
$35+tax per month for Jan -Dec 2025 (35 internet + 0 mobile)
$60 + tax for Dec 2025-Jan 2026 (60 internet (full price wo promo) + 0 mobile) - If I cancel internet, then I will loose 1 month of free mobile.

Overall it's not Free mobile plan for me. Such a shady promo.
Got exactly same issue today. Should know to avoid xfinity...

Have you got your second month bill yet? Have you got mobile discount of $40 in the second bill? I also got charged $40 and not sure if the promo is applied or not.

Just FYI, I signed up for the offer and they charged me $65 for first month and said it would be free from second month onwards. I cancelled my line within about a day after signing up.

Don't forget to reboot your modem to get the new speeds from the speed increase this last week. I never got anything about it but saw they updated the speeds on the website. Rebooted and got them plus the usual 20% OP.

NOW
100/10Mbps -> 100/20Mbps
200/10Mbps -> 200/20Mbps

Standard Markets
150/20Mbps -> 150/35Mbps
300/20Mbps -> 400/35Mbps
500/20Mbps -> 600/35Mbps
800/20Mbps -> 800/35Mbps (now legacy?)
1000/20Mbps -> 1100/35Mbps
1200/35Mbps -> 1300/35Mbps

Enhanced Markets (Mid-Split, i.e. higher ULs)
Same DL upgrades as above
100Mbps UL -> 150 Mbps UL
150Mbps UL -> 300 Mbps UL
2000/300Mbps -> 2100/300Mbps

Symmetrical Markets
UL/DL increased to match Standard Market DL speed increases

YMMV, Gig speeds is a decent deal right now for a 1 year deal ($33.33/month after GC).

1100/300 for $50/month + $200 Amazon GC + modem rental + Unlimited Mobile Line
+$10/month unlimited Internet data

2 yr term /w 1 yr contract is now 3 yr term /w 1 yr contract (+$10/month to lock in)

Is there anyway for a current residential customer to get this deal?
Quote from relic5150 :
When the contract ends they will raise your price without telling you. You call back and have to haggle with them to secure any other promotion.

I did that for a decade and kept Internet for $50 a year. Also increasing my speed every year until I got to gigabyte.

Last year they raised it $10. This year another $20. A 60 percent increase in two years.

The only way they would lower it is if I signed up for mobile too. This is their new strategy. No more single service discounts. Bundle you, then raise prices on everything.

fark you Comcast, I'm never going back.

I got gigabit WOW! For $15 less and for $5 a month I pay for them to never raise my price. This is what we've come to. Having to pay to keep the same price.

But not having to deal with haggling every year just to keep the same service is worth $60 a year for me, especially when. The service is $240 a year less to begin with.

Did I say fark Comcast? Stay away.
Not sure if this still works, but people with their own modems could just cancel their plan/account and sign up as a new customer using a different email. I did it 2 yrs ago, and it worked fine all in one day. I can't remember, but you might need to get them to reassign your modem to your new account by giving them your device MAC. I've only done it once, so hopefully someone with more experience can chime in.

Xfinity also has $50 referral rewards for signing up for internet which you can combine with this deal. DM your friend to get it. I also signed up for this deal along with referral.

What if I sign up for the plan after a month of internet?

Right now I have been on a pretty good deal , 24 mo 300Mbps, XFi Complete, unlimited data (dont really need) and equipment for 25/mo with 4 months left before promo runs out

Now they are offering me a free phone line with a $1000 trade in credit for an s23 FE and buying an s25+ for $1000 that is offset by the trade in via bill credits for 24 mo

What's the catch? Well in July when my promo ends I'll be stuck. My bill is probably going to go from $25 to $79 and if I keep Xfi Complete thats another $25. Not sure if my plan would still include equipment if I get rid of Xfi. My plan included equipment even without the XFi

So while the offer is great, it will suck once July hits.

They run promos like that all the time. I would wait until you ride off your current promo, cancel your service and sign up as a new customer on a new 2 yr deal, then add on a similar phone deal available at that time (if you need/want it).

The catch is that line is free only for a year and you need to stay for 2 years.

Why can't you just cancel the phone part after the free year is over?
