There's a cutting guide that comes with the 780 model of this saw. You used to be able to add an aftermarket shadow cutting guide if you get the 779 model but I'm pretty sure they changed the new 779s so that you're unable to, at least with the current available kits.
If I didn't have space issues I'd jump on this deal. Im waiting for the $600 deal on the Bosch with gravity stand to come again. Since the Bosch 12" does not require a foot of space behind to saw to operate.
