A year ago we picked up the Apple Watch Series 9 for $319, so this is $10 more than last year's price, about equal if you roll in inflation.

Costco is bit late to the game -- other vendors (Walmart, Amazon etc) had already offered $329 + free shipping a couple weeks ago.

Actually Costco has had it for this price consistently since everyone started with the sales back on Black Friday. Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and Target did not have this sale price again. The $4 shipping sucks but if you can't find the sport loop in your size at Amazon might be worth it.

Costco website says the savings started 11/13/24. Maybe the price was higher so the 40$ savings wouldn't have been on par w/ the other retailers?

Even though there's shipping and regardless if they were late to the game, I feel better w/ Costco customer service and 90d returns.

I second that. I just bit the bullet on it. I was waiting around for a cheaper deal like the last target deal which I didn't take advantage of at the time. But if it's a Christmas gift, shipping gets it to you by Wednesday if bought today. Amazon unfortunately would arrive after Christmas.

Amazon deal is better. Same price + extra 5% back if you have Amazon CC + Free 2 day Shipping. Costco is charging extra 5 dollars for shipping which will take more than 2 days. I think 30 days are enough to decide whether you want to keep the watch or not.
