$1349 now at many warehouses. Price Match if you lugged it home last week lol. I put a note on the old thread this am. Looks like they dropped at Amazon as well. Bigger deal if you were looking for the QM8 98" to finally drop down to earth a bit, it's now at $2999 at BB, and of course Amazon went OOS same time.

just a somewhat related tip

look up the height and width of the tv you wanna get, then take painters tape and measure out a tape rectangle to see what's too big

Some stores have 3D virtual reality things that let you see the TV in your living room. I looked at 77 inch TVs just for kicks and it was JUST big enough. 100 inches would be crazy there. Made the purchase. It was accurate.

Just did this deal. But purchased at Best Buy. They are offering free delivery and installation. Have not found any catch. Can't wait to get the new TV.

Keep in mind that the $1350 in-store price does not include installation/mounting, and you have to transport this monster TV home. The extra $150 for the online price is well worth it for some folks as it includes delivery and installation/mounting.

Yeah, I was mainly pointing out to PM if they had lugged it home in BF eagerness. The QM8 for $2999 was the big announcement at that time and nobody had started a thread on that yet, but my hands are already busy. . .I have the Hisense 100U8K waiting to be delivered (as backup to the 85U8N deal I really wanted that they dropped the shipment on). then there's the BB 77 C3 deal. Really feel like the 85u8N is the sweet spot or the qm8 of that size, and the two above coming in this week are trying to fit that bill, in different ways, but not exactly. . .any thoughts? 10-11 ft. Not too wide on the sides. TV shows then sports and then movies sometimes. Pretty dark for a living room no direct light as a 7 yr old 6 series Sammy (similar in nits to oled) is bright enough

EDIT: variable changed yesterday, got the Wylder sectional on sale, raised our seating height by about 2 inches. And I was actually planning on putting whatever on a 21" high x 82" center. 85" looks closest maybe just on the under side of the "top of the lower 1/3" method and the 75" currently there is about the same but it's base is 2" taller than the current models are, and the height looks good. And they are still promising to ship the 85u8N, I'm guessing in January now. . .

I agree... at 10-11 ft. 85" seems like the sweet spot since you're mostly TV shows and sports. IMO, 98"-100" might be nice at that distance for the occasional immersive movie experience, but would be overdoing it otherwise.

So true on all of that. And I'm trying on this one! I even got the 65 Canvas deal (as a side tv) to solve the casual daytime TV running on a 100" issues--which would be really cool on gamedays--and would probably having me to get another Canvas for the left flank as well lol. But this seems like replaying the drop screen + small TV of years past, and a whole different cost level.

Then I realized prior owner had put the cord hider at 47" top (and hardwired it) which is in no mans land I think for the 100" and a 21" high e- center below if I want speakers etc on top. Which can be fixed, and a new center or base bought, but so much more involved than the 77 or an 85 would be for me

Too bad the Vesa used is the same on both. 9" of TV below the bottom screw on the 85 and 21" below on the 100".

Anyone installed a full motion wall mount? If so how is it holding?
I used this wall mount https://www.walmart.com/ip/Perles...5235425217
and sometimes a door on the wall is open and closed the TV shakes, handy recommends to use a fixed wall mount instead of full motion
This is his recommended wall mount https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...2QI9&psc=1
