My daycare starts at 2 years old. We just let her sit on her toilet at home. She's gone a few times but not a habit. It's just to get her familiar with it. Same thing with brushing, we gave her a toothbrush since she was one and she would just suck on it. It took another 6-7 months before she finally figured out it was meant for brushing. So she likes to sit there at times but yeah, it is a lot of work for a toddler under two.

This was very normal many years ago, before disposable diapers made it so easy for kids to be in diapers.
