I have never once even had the option to even select express delivery. All the app ever offers is regular time slots.

Walmart actually guaranteed $11-$13 per delivery to the driver. Most deliveries are within 5 mile range so def can make good money driving back and forth. Long wait list to join their spark driver program in big cities. Just and fyi

Too bad Walmart store is an hour drive one way, I feel bad for the driver traveling so far which is why I never do store delivery

From what I've read, Walmart pays drivers a set amount for deliveries no matter what apparently? If it's set for $11, they'll pay $11 if you tip $0. If you tip $5, they'll pay $6, so the driver gets $11 either way. Rotten

Just a reminder. When you place an Express Order, make certain you have everything you need in the order. Found out the hard way, I couldn't go in and add even one item once it was placed.

I know it used to pay really well but heard other drivers complain it's not as good as it used to be. I'm sure they pay better than DoorDash though. They'll pay $2 base if the tip is good enough someone will take it

For anyone not aware. The people that deliver your Walmart orders and shop for express orders are independent contractors. They do not work for Walmart, they work with Walmart. Tip them please if you are able to.

Wrong. Spark Driver here. The base pay starts at $11 for shopping orders (drivers shop for the order and then drive to deliver it). So if you tip $5, the total payout for the driver will be $16. If no driver accepts the order, Walmart will keep increasing pay by $1 every couple minutes until a driver deems the payout is worth it.

Very wrong. Don't spread misinformation. Pickup only orders start at $7 with no tip and $11 for shopping with no tip.

It's 3rd party. Independent contractors are shopping/driving to deliver your order with their own time and car expenses. ALL deliveries from Walmart are done by 3rd party, it's called the Spark program. We deliver your "shipping" items, your "delivery" items and your "express" orders. We do them all. 2 hours or less and 3 hours or less orders are shopped for by us as well.

It's 3rd party. All deliveries no matter if it's express, shipping or regular delivery orders it's all 3rd party done by spark drivers. As long as the miles to pay ratio is good you will get your order picked up instantly and delivered as fast as humanely possible.

lol when did I say that. I actually deliver for a side hustle. I wish they just charged the customer and paid the driver what was fair and took the tipping shit out of it. Good tippers basically are subsidizing the service for non tippers because they'll stack them together to make it worth it.
