For white only. It looks great in a room actually. But think carefully if you use projector. It's glossy and it's all I see when the lights off. I cover my d5c with some black velvet.

I bought these last time on sale. They sound great and look better in person. It's better than the Klipschs RP series that goes on sale.

Good luck with shipping towers from Adorama. Got shipped 3 sets of towers and all were damaged.
Support for shipping damages is even worse. Eventually returned everything and gave up.

That's the shipping carrier's fault, not Adorama's. My personal experience is that FedEx is worse than UPS.

As for the D17's, they have plenty of padded protection in the factory box. The speakers are also covered with both a plastic and a black cloth bag. Another nice touch is that the speaker is upside down in the box so when you open the box (with the arrow pointing up) you can install the base and feet on to the speaker then flip over the box to remove the speaker in the upright position.

For large speakers the packing is the weak spot. If well packed in oversize, well padded boxes, I've never had an issue with 100 lb speakers. Saving $10 or $20 on packing always seamed like a bad mistake to me.

As another data point, I had no trouble in Dec 2021, with a set of Triangle Borea BR08 tower speakers from Adorama, shipped via UPS to rural Maine. Not to negate your experience! Just another data point.

Klipsch RP series besides being too bright for my taste, the speaker finish is just too plain. Cheap resin plastic.
I recall the handsome Polk Audio RtiA series.

I got the D15s last year and love them. Be brave on the color and give these a chance
